THE MUSEUM OF ALMOST / THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
A few good
ground rules.
Terms & community guidelines · Updated 5 November 2026
Using the museum
The Museum of Almost offers editorial ideas, reflection exercises, and a way for adults aged 18 or older to register interest in social activities, introductions, and coaching possibilities. Browsing the site is free. Registering an interest is free and does not create a confirmed match, event reservation, paid booking, or provider relationship.
Availability and prices
Introductions, groups, locations, online formats, hosts, and coaching options depend on availability and suitability. We do not guarantee a match, a response time, friendship, or any personal outcome. If an available option has a price, its terms, provider details, and any relevant cancellation arrangements will be supplied before you choose to book. No payment is taken by these enquiry forms.
Be a good person to meet
Treat other people respectfully. No harassment, discrimination, pressure, unsolicited sales pitches, or sharing someone else’s details without consent. Participation and exchanging contact information are voluntary. Respect refusals. We can decline or stop handling requests that involve abusive or unsafe conduct.
Meeting and sharing responsibly
An introduction is not a background check, identity verification, or endorsement of another participant. For a first in-person meeting, choose a public place, arrange your own transport, and tell someone you trust your plans. Do not share money, identity documents, or sensitive personal details with an unfamiliar person. For online conversations, share only what you are comfortable disclosing.
Reflection and coaching
Articles and exercises are general invitations to reflect and experiment. Any coaching described here concerns practical goals; it is not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, or crisis support. Visualization or manifestation exercises are personal reflection practices, with no promise of a particular result. You remain free to stop an exercise or decline an invitation.
Stories and other submissions
Submit only material you have the right to share. Do not include another person’s private or identifying information. By separately permitting story publication, you allow us to publish and edit that story for this website with your first name. This permission is optional, and you can contact us to withdraw it. The editorial collection may not include every submission.
Questions and changes
Please use the contact page for questions about a request, these terms, or your information. The site and these terms may develop as the project changes. Updated terms will be displayed here. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
